Twisted Band

There are two seperate packs of 20 cards here, each working independently and then together.

The left hand pack is threaded in the Z direction, the right hand pack is threaded S. If you weave them together they form a chevron. If you weave them seperately they form two different twisted bands.

So, here I wove them together for a but, then seperated them and wove each pack seperately for 40 picks. I then allowed them to follow their natural twist and added a little extra in, by turning the band over in their desired direction, cards and all by 360 degrees.

Then weave them together again for a bit.

And you get this interesting effect. Which is interesting

I have been getting 5-10 spam comments on your blog for 3 or 4 days now. I hope you reconsider the word verification.

huh, that's weird. I do apologise. Do you mean the word verification isn't working for you or you're getting stuck in the spam filter? Either way, I'll take it off. I must admit, captcha's are getting more difficult

Ok, I think I get it. There is a lot of stuff in my spam filter, I don't know if any of it's from you. Either way I've reinstated word verification and moderation.

Darn bots

oooooh, i see what's happened. You've commented on one of my old mildly popular posts and clicked the "notify me by email" box and now you're getting bombarded with gibberish before the spam filter gets it. Ok.
