Funny how perspectives change. If I wove these, I'd worry about the warped lines caused by different shrinkage, (?) but since I didn't weave them, I think that is so attractive. I love the second from the top sample.
Oh, It's not shrinkage that's causing that, all yarns used in the samples are Viscose Rayon. What you have there is the result of weaving sections of double cloth in a warp that's sett for single. The sections that are in two colours are single and are as such pushing into the sections that are double cloth which conseqeuntly have 2 layers at half sett. That's actually one of my best pieces and entirely the result of experimentation. The colours dont come out well though
Fantastic! You must be so proud! I like the ones with the curves too, but these all glow so beautifully. The more I look, the more I think the 5th up from the bottom would be the one I'd grab for myself if it were a big yardage. Those reds veiled by the light blue, a lot of depth.
